Cooking steaks on a cooling wire rack allows hot air to circulate around the steak better, giving you a more evenly heated steak.

Place steak on a wire rack and place in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. Until the internal temperature reaches about 100-110 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next, pour a tablespoon of vegetable oil into a medium cast iron skillet. Place on the stove over medium-high heat. Place your steak in the frying pan when the oil is almost smoking. Let the steaks cook for about 60 seconds on each side. It is enough time to get a crispy exterior. Let rest 5-10 before slicing.

4. Additional method: Add some beef broth
